SensABLE Snacks employs individuals living with disabilities
A unique enhancement of the Transition to Employment programs in Ahoskie, NC and Newbern, NC is the hands-on learning participants receive by working on our SensABLE Snacks food truck. The food truck is used as a learning lab for developing and building employment skills for participants in the Transition to Employment program. Participants have a choice of working on the food truck as either a paid employee or as a volunteer.
An award winning program for positive change
SensABLE Snacks received the Center for Integrative Health’s “Care Challenge” award in December 2020. This award honors an organization that implements one or more service change during COVID-19 to improve the quality of whole person care that will be carried through a post COVID-19 world!
