Outpatient Services

Outpatient mental health support for children and adults

Easterseals UCP provides evaluation and assessment to determine the most effective approach to improve the mental health and wellness of the children and adults we support.

Outpatient services are provided in an office or community setting. Treatment methods include individual, family and/or group therapy, crisis intervention, psychiatric evaluation and medication management.

Outpatient therapy takes place once a week, typically around 45 to 60 minutes. It can be a stepping stone prior to beginning a higher level of support or a step down after completing a higher level of care. Individuals can receive support for mental health and/or substance use concerns. We seek to meet individuals where they are and use motivational interviewing strategies to assess their readiness to make changes. This service can be provided in person or via telehealth.

Our medication management service supports individuals receiving a mental health or substance use service with our team. Please note that we do not provide stand-alone medication management. Our prescribers work closely with the individual’s mental health and substance use team to best meet their needs. Clients can meet with prescribers virtually from home, can come to our office to use our computers for virtual meetings or meet face to face with prescribers.

Here’s what our clients are saying…
