Employment assistance to help adults live independently
Easterseals UCP provides employment assistance for adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and mental health challenges, which enables them to develop skills and earn income.
Program Overview
Our comprehensive employment services help prepare individuals for joining the workforce. We start by learning about their interests and helping program participants write resumes that will be attractive to prospective employers. Once individuals complete their resume, our team helps them look for a job based on their interests and desires. While waiting for prospective employers to schedule interviews, we help program participants prepare with mock interviewing, selecting appropriate clothing and creating questions to ask the employer.
Once program participants are hired, our employment services team assists them with on-the-job training and provides the additional support needed for them to be successful at work.
