Easterseals UCP is a non-profit service provider in North Carolina & Virginia. We are seeking a compassionate, caring, and dedicated Licensed Therapist to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary Outpatient Therapy (OPT) team designed to provide treatment for individuals, youths and families, or groups.
What You’ll Do
Outpatient Therapists provide services designed to meet the clinically significant behavioral or psychological symptoms or patterns that have been identified as treatment needs of the recipient. This service is provided through scheduled therapeutic treatment sessions and may be provided to individuals, families or groups. The OPT Therapy team at Easterseals UCP uses a Strength-based Approach to develop Person Centered Plans (PCP’s) that are designed to treat the clinically significant behavioral or psychological symptoms or patterns that have been identified as treatment needs for the recipient. As a Therapist, the average for clinical hours is up to 19 hours each week (PT). Services are provided at the Wake County Juvenile Detention Center (Butner, NC) and/or the Dillon Juvenile Detention Center (Raleigh, NC).
How You’ll Benefit
You’ll earn a competitive salary and in addition, work hours are flexible, and dependent on how many youth need to be seen per day. This position can be in person or telehealth.
What We’re Looking For
To join our team, you must be willing to provide care in various community settings, rotate phone coverage as needed, have a passion for helping others, have experience with diffusing crisis and able to link clients to community resources. We also require the following:
- Have master’s degree in a related field
- Be fully or provisionally licensed in appropriate discipline—either LCMHC, LMFT, LCSW or LPA
- Have documented experience with the population to be served
- Demonstrate high moral and ethical character, and be free of any substantiated charges of abuse or neglect on the NC Healthcare Registry
- Maintain valid insurance for personal vehicles utilized for work
