Easterseals UCP, is a non-profit service provider in North Carolina & Virginia. We are seeking a compassionate, caring, and dedicated Behavior Technician 3 (BT III) to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary Virginia REACH team designed to provide support to youths in our Youth Crisis Therapeutic Home (YCTH) located in Culpeper, VA.
This position comes with a sign-on and retention bonus of $2000*
What You’ll Do
The BT III provides oversight of the BT I and II and direct support to supervisor. They will also support to individuals at the YCTH with co-occurring disabilities and/or behavioral health needs. Some of what you may do: participate in facilitating daily program and rehabilitative activities, therapeutic interventions, assist with personal care. This position shares the function with the Supervisor of acting as liaison between the Clinical team and center-based teams.
How You’ll Benefit
You’ll earn a competitive salary between $46k-$50k, based on your education and QMHP-A or C experience. There is also a sign-on bonus.

What We’re Looking For
To join our team as a Behavior Technician (BTIII) you must have experience working with IDD/Behavioral Health (BH) disorders. We also require the following:
- Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) and/or Qualified Developmental Disabilities Professional (QDDP)
- Registration with the Board of Counseling as a QMHP A and/or C required if a QMHP or QDDP
- BT 3: Bachelor’s degree in human service field from an accredited institution
- Supervisory experience is preferred
- Maintain valid state appropriate driver’s license and auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles utilized for work
